Author Scott Turow submitted to the National Book Festival 2010. Speaker Bio: Scott Turow is a writer and lawyer. He is the author of eight novels, his first novel, 1987's "Presumed Innocent" and its sequel, this year, "Innocent" (Grand Central Publishing). Turow's books have won numerous literary awards, and his books have been in over 25 languages, over 25 million copies worldwide and was translated into a feature film and two adaptedTV mini-series. This fall, Fox will premiere a weekly TV series based on his third novel, "pleading guilty". Turow continues to work as a lawyer. He has a partner in the Chicago office of a national law firm since 1986 and focuses on white-collar criminal defense, and has devoted a considerable amount of time to pro bono matters. He lives in Illinois.
